Reduce the overextended lateral limbs by approximately 2?3 metres, cutting back to suitable growth points and retaining the trees? natural form as far as practicable. The trees have asymmetric crowns, with overextended limbs extending over the public footpath and carriageway. The proposed works are intended to reduce the length and weight of these limbs and manage the risk of limb failure over areas used by pedestrians and road traffic.
