Application for Listed Building Consent - Installation of timber collars and structural supports to existing roof rafters; Remove existing shelving and associated timber fixings within cupboard only where necessary to facilitate repair of the existing post; Installation of metal tie beams to wall plates spanning the width of the building; Insulation of the loft space with sheep wool; Installation of a new sole plate to the front elevation (as required); Replacement of existing metal straps to the wall plate, including fixing through to new external straps; Alterations to the front elevation, including the installation and/or replacement of brick plinthing, with temporary structural support during works; Replacement of window hinges on the front elevation with appropriate fittings; Removal of existing render to the front elevation and replacement with appropriate backing, lime-based base coat, and fine lime topcoat; Installation of a timber pentice to form a junction with the adjoining property; and, Decoration of newly rendered areas using lime-based paint systems.
