T1 : Mature Cherry Tree. It is proposed to remove the mature cherry tree to ground level. The reason for the proposed removal is that the two large lower lateral limbs have a considerable amount of rot and decay and are now at an increased risk of failure. Removing these limbs would significantly alter the tree's structure and leave the remaining tree unbalanced, potentially increasing the risk of further failure. Following removal, a new cherry tree will be planted in the same location to replace the existing tree and maintain the amenity and character of the site.
