G1; Group of Silver birch (Betula pendula) - Reduce overall canopies to approximately 2M reduction on height and 1M on sides (the annotated mark on picture). Reason: To reduce leverage, excessive shade and manage overall size. T1; Beech (Fagus sylvatica) - Reduce overall canopy approximately 30% to approximately the annotated mark on picture. Reason: To reduce leverage, encroachment, excessive shade and manage overall size. T2; Sycamore (Acer pseudoplatanus) - Reduce overall canopy approximately 30% to approximately the annotated mark on picture. Reason: To reduce leverage, encroachment, excessive shade and manage overall size. T3; Mulberry (Morus nigra) - Reduce overall canopy to approximately 1M reduction on height and 0.5M on sides (the annotated mark on picture). Reason: To reduce excessive shade and manage overall size. T4; Holm oak (Quercus ilex) - Crown clean and remove dead bough overhanging public bench. G1; 2x dead ash whips - Remove to ground level. G2; Sycamore - Reduce overhang back to give approx. 2-3 m clearance of property. T1; Holm Oak - Reduce overhang back to give approx. 2-3 m clearance of property. T2; Holm Oak - Reduce crown by approx. 30% back to good growth points. G3; Sycamore x3 - Remove. Reason: To open up the view and give the mature oak in the background some space. G4; Pine & Ash - Reduce overhang back to give approx. 2-3 m clearance of property.
T1; Cherry - Reduce by approximately 30% to good growth points. T2; Sycamore - Fell to near ground level. Reason: Oversized for location (too close to old stone boundary wall).
Beech - Reduce the top 2 branches back in line with the remaining canopy and crown. Reason: The tree is overhanging the garage and is a potential hazard. The tree is currently unbalanced in growth towards the garage, and the resulting pruning will also balance the tree.
Condition compliance application on 20/01345/HOU for condition 3 (Tree Protection)
Removal of existing balcony and porch canopy; Proposed porch on front elevation with balcony and balustrade above
Pittosporum - Remove. Reason: Damaging stone wall and is starting to interfere with our telephone line.
Sycamore tree & Ash tree - Pollard back to their growth points.
**5 Day Notice** Sycamore - Reduce crown by 50%, back to growth points. Reason: Overhanging roof. The roof requires urgent works, the sycamore tree need the limbs removed before the work can be done.
Sycamore (on boundary of Elm cottage and Elm Dene) - Fell. Reason: Tree is almost dead with few leaves remaining, significant branches are starting to fall onto road, driveways and garden seating areas.
T1; Bay - Reduce back to bush (approx 1m in height). Reason: Encroaching on other trees in the area.
